As a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Yoga Teacher, Allison is an advocate for living an energized and passionate life. While studying holistic nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, NY she developed an interest in Ayurveda and the Blood Type Diet in particular and went on to receive additional certifications. With her passion for natural health, and newfound interest in Ayurveda – the sister science to yoga – it was an obvious step for her to become a certified yoga instructor.
Every certification and class she has taken has created a foundation for living an empowered life. It is her passion to share what she has learned to help others find that inner joy. She believes that everything we do: the food we eat; what we read or watch on television; how we move our bodies; what we think and believe; makes us who we are. If we’re uncomfortable with who we are, we have choice. We can change. It doesn’t have to be difficult, it is not meant to be a struggle. When we live in alignment with our higher purpose, struggle and tension drop away and what is left is a lightness of being and a clear path. Whether you get there through yoga or food or some other means does not matter. What matters is the first step.
Allison received her CHHC certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in partnership with Columbia University. She is a certified Yoga Nidra practitioner, Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant and Blood Type Diet Practitioner. She has completed two 200 hour yoga teacher training certification programs; one with The Hatha Yoga School of Central Florida, where she now assists in teaching new teacher training students and one from Amrit Yoga Institute where she also assists in teaching new students and has gone on to receive her 500 hour training. In addition she also holds two degrees in art and design. She teaches gentle yoga and yoga nidra; workshops on Holistic Health, Spirituality, Intention, Yogic Philosophy, Chakras, Ayurveda, Sacred Spaced and Creativity.
Lisa Moore | E-RYT-200 | Certified Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher
Lisa Moore is a certified Hatha/Ashtanga Yoga Instructor, Prenatal, and Kids Yoga Instructor. Her background as a gymnast and dancer throughout her childhood made the transition into yoga a natural process. Yoga has been a part of her life since childhood. Both her parents practice yoga, meditation, and pranayama daily. They taught her pranayama (breathing) techniques at a very young age to help her learn to work with her emotions, concentration, and focus. She was taught Transcendental Meditation(TM) at age 17 by a trained TM teacher. She believes that yoga is something that everyone should and can practice at any age. Starting the practice of yoga in childhood is a great way to compliment and balance other activities and it is an activity that can be continued throughout your lifetime.
Lisa received her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2000. She worked as a Bank Consultant for several years before moving to Central Florida. She has now made teaching and practicing yoga her full time career.

Sarah Morgan | Certified Yoga Teacher
Sarah Morgan discovered yoga in 2004 when a couple of friends dragged her to a Power Yoga classes at the YMCA, but was hooked after a workshop with Bryan Kest! She loved the yoga philosophy regarding compassion and non-judgment and couldn’t deny how the physical practice made her feel. In 2007, Sarah began to focus solely on yoga, which, at the time, was Ashtanga. Eventually, she began to think outside of the Ashtanga box and began to practice more vinyasa yoga, which challenged her in a different way. So many of the postures were new to Sarah – it was humbling and forced her to be patient and accepting of where she was – at that moment. Eventually, Sarah progressed to a point where she thought she might benefit from teacher training, not to become a teacher but to deepen her practice. In January 2011, Sarah began her nine-month journey to become a 200-hour RYT. As a new teacher, Sarah hopes to bring the same sense of kindness, honesty and integrity to her teaching as she does in her own practice. Email Sarah

Diane’s yoga journey began In college when introduced to “The Upanishads,” one of India’s Sacred texts. The teachings and beliefs resonated deeply with her personal philosophy. After a few years of Sadhana (spiritual practice) it was a natural progression to explore the physical asana practice of yoga. Over the course of many years Diane has studied Bikram, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Integral Hatha Yoga, always finding the spiritual limb at the heart of her practice.
Overcoming two Breast Cancer diagnoses in twelve years, Diane was never more certain that her years of spiritual studies and physical practice not only prepared her for her walk with cancer, but more importantly provided her the tools to remain calm, breathe, and bring healing and perseverance in the face of it all. With a longing to share with others what has served her so well for so many years, Diane completed her 200-hour teacher training with the Central Florida Hatha School in 2013.
As part of her continuous commitment to health and wellness through yoga, Diane received her Certification in Therapeutic Yoga from the Amrit Yoga Institute November 2013. With a personal understanding of how the body is a storehouse of emotions, causing imbalances and dis-ease, the process seeks to increase health, alleviate stress and open pathways to obtaining a deeper connection with the Self, the Source, and the light which resides in each of us.
In addition, Diane is a certified Interpreter for the Deaf, an active member of Deaf Yoga Foundation and is dedicated to providing accessibility of Yoga to the Deaf Community.
Jenn Blackburn, RYT-200

Jenny’s journey with yoga began in 2006 after a friend invited her to a Bikram yoga class for the first time. She fell in love with the meditative concentration it took to get into the physical postures. Eventually finding a more spiritual Hatha practice through a beloved teacher, Jenny’s home and heart are on the mat. Her classes emphasize turning inward, letting your body guide your personal practice, and holding a sacred space for everyone to explore.
Violette Gibbs, LMT, RYT
Licensed Massage Therapist | Registered Yoga Teacher
Violette received her certification as a Yoga Teacher in August 2012. She has been practicing all types of yoga since 2006 and through her experience found it to provide the necessary balance she was searching for in her life, combining spirituality, stress relief, and fitness. She decided to express her passion and knowledge through teaching and hope that others will benefit. Violette most recently completed her Yoga Nidra Professional Facilitator Training at Amrit Yoga Institute.
Violette is also a massage Therapist. A believer in touch being the ultimate form of therapy, she suggests that massage can deliver an immediate healing effect and continuing benefits long after one has received a therapeutic massage. Violette graduated from The Florida College of Natural Health in 2002. An L.M.T. now for ten years, she has since continued her education in massage therapy offering deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, reflexology, structural integration and myofascial release, sports massage and neuromuscular therapy. She specializes in chronic pain disorders. Her belief is that an hour on the table can restore years of vitality to one’s soul.
Violette practices Yoga and is an activist in coral reef preservation. She graduated from The University of Central Florida in 2011 with a degree in Biology. Her area of focus is vertebrate anatomy and physiology. With her continued education at the university Violette has incorporated her knowledge of the human body into her teachings of yoga and restorative massage treatments.

I was introduced to yoga in college while studying Dance. Yoga was a natural transition from my studies in contemporary and modern dance. I was a performing arts teacher in both the public and private school settings for ten years. I have been practicing yoga on a regular basis for the past decade. Yoga has helped me to manage life’s challenges in a positive way. It has given me the tools to be more mindful and peaceful in the everyday. I am passionate about sharing these tools with others and allowing them to find peace within.

Heidi’s passion for yoga started while traveling abroad in Southeast Asia. Heidi first began her journey into Meditative Study while trekking in Thailand, where a serendipitous encounter with a deeply spiritual Yoga Guru changed her life. While getting to experience the vast cultural differences, she became exposed to many new forms of thought and meditation. Heidi is a firm believer in Karmic Yoga and seeks to practice it in her day to day life. Heidi has always been very active. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities ranging from SCUBA diving to snowboarding. Living a healthy lifestyle is one of her passions and one she decided to pursue further after graduating from UCF with a Communication Degree in 2010. She decided to share her healthy habits with others and enrolled in the Yoga Teacher Training Program of Central Florida to be able to spread the Yogic Lifestyle with others.
In her spare time, she loves practicing Yoga with her family (including her dog, Chief). Her soothing voice and positive demeanor seek to inspire all who take her class.

Alicia began her yoga practice in 2005 at Lake Center Yoga in Longwood, FL. She has an extensive background in dance and a love of learning and movement. Alicia began teaching dance to children six years ago and feels the energy and joy children bring to class is very special. Alicia branched out to teaching kids yoga two years ago and was certified through Karma Kids Yoga in March 2013. She has also completed the 100 hour Anusara Yoga Immersion Program. Alicia is currently a dance and kids yoga instructor for the City of Casselberry and dance instructor for the City of Oviedo.

Jen’s journey with yoga started at time when she felt nothing could go right. Helpless and lost she turned to yoga. Witnessing the effects on her physical body right away, Jen became aware of herself. Her love of self grew as well as her spirituality. In 2014 she decided it was time for transformation and took the leap into teacher training. There she discovered her calling in life and went on to receive an additional certification in Kid’s Yoga. Jen’s classes are fun and playful. She will guide and support you on your journey to your true self through asana, yogic philosophy and pranayama.

Debbie is a true example of how yoga can change someone’s life. Coming from years of being shy, insecure, a party girl (to cover up her shyness), a drinker and smoker, lonely, and quite lost in general, yoga brought peace to her inner dialogue of insecurities. It taught her about the innate power that we all have in making the daily decision to either follow the darkness or choose to be in the light. She lives each day passionate about the healing qualities that yoga offers each one of us, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
She received her 200 hour certification in 2007 from Jeannie Laslo at Red Door Yoga and has continued to delve deeper into the studies of yoga from some of the most heartfelt and influential teachers in yoga; Max Strom, Dinabandhu, Amrit Desai, Panditji Ramani Tigunait, Bhagavan Das, Krishna Das, and her teacher Yoganand. She is continuing her training in Advanced Teaching and Yoga Therapy through Pranakriya (a Kripalu based yoga) and continually uses The Yoga Sutras to guide her classes as well as her life. She offers private sessions for groups or individuals as well as individual Yoga Therapy sessions. She has also produced two Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) cd’s.
Combining her two passions of yoga and travel, Debbie has joined a new organization that offers retreats all over the world for the deep study of yoga and mindfulness www.SutraProject.com.
Debbie has also has expanded her services beyond yoga into other complimentary healing modalities. She is a Reiki practitioner, helping others to balance the energy centers of the body through light touch and intuitive guidance. She also is a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist, another modality working with the bodies’ energy that includes moving the joints and massaging the muscles of the body. Both techniques are incredibly restorative and balancing to the recipients’ body, mind, and heart.

Zoe Plasencia, CYT

Zoe began her journey with an innate interest in restoring the body after triathlon and marathon training. She quickly discovered how yoga could renew energy through breathing, alignment and core-muscle control.
In 2010, she started her yoga path- receiving her Teacher Certification from Prana Yoga Studio in Miami. She further enriched her Meditation and Yoga training with leaders at the Himalayan Institute in Pennsylvania.
Zoe’s versatile approach to teaching runs the full spectrum of possibility, from Power yoga to Vinyasa flow to gentle Restorative yoga. Zoe is also a certified Yoga Nidra instructor, helping students find balance in different states of consciousness. Zoe teaches straight from the heart, hoping to restore in each of us an awareness of our greatest potential.
Zoe’s flowing style is always changing, and she’s known for classes that are challenging, relaxing, and soothing all at once. Her classes emphasize asana, pranayama, and meditation as a gateway to personal transformation.

Margo Tafuri, RYT

Margo began practicing Yoga in 1999 it was to get into better physical shape. She was pleasantly surprised by the overall sense of well-being and peace that Yoga brought to her life. Now, Yoga is what grounds and centers her and connects her to the beauty of life.
Margo became a Yoga teacher so that she may share what she has found through Yoga with others, specifically children and families. She imagined how her life may had been different if she began her Yoga practice as a child. She imagined less confusion. More peace, compassion, and wellness in individuals, communities and the world, especially in the youth, is of utmost of importance to Margo.
She was certified to teach Yoga for Children and Families in 2009. She is passionate about teaching children how to use their minds and bodies to create a healthy and useful life.
Margo is a registered Yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance. She earned her 200 hour teacher certification with Jeannie Laslo at Red Sun Yoga in 2010.
Judy Toth, RYT-200

As the family story goes, when Judy was 2 years old she begged to be able to take dance classes. The local studio said she had to wait until she was 3 which her parents contend was the longest year of their lives!! That was the beginning of her love of fitness, health and activity. For many years she studied dance, performed and even taught. When her work required a move from Pittsburgh to Washington DC, her interest in fitness continued by taking (and then teaching) various types of fitness classes. However, it was when she moved to Florida in the 80’s that she was first introduced to yoga. No matter what other activities she pursued, yoga provided a way to become more grounded as well as develop strength and flexibility. In 2005 she began an 8 year journey of caring for ill parents. During that time, yoga became her main fitness activity and a refuge. It provided centering, grounding, and helped her develop the patience and stamina that she needed to keep up with the demands of her business as a leadership coach, her family, and her parents’ needs. In 2014 she was finally able to delve deeper into the study of yoga by taking and completing the yoga certification program. She is now looking forward to sharing the love of yoga along with many years of experience helping people focus on and develop their own peace in mind and body.
Joanna Vass, RYT
Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher | Meditation Teacher
As an anxious child, nature became refuge because it always had a way of calming Joanna down. At the age of 18, Joanna discovered yoga and meditation, and found a way to reconnect with a deep sense of inner peace. She found herself calm even in the midst of a crowded room. Yoga was not only transformative for her mind, but for her body too. Coupled with meditation, she found a greater sense of self love. This is the message she tries to bring to her meditation and yoga classes.
Just recently in August of 2013, Joanna graduated from Yoga Teacher Training of Central Florida with a certification in Hatha Yoga Level I, including asana, pranayama and meditation. Studying under wonderful teachers such as Shea Knight, Joni Giconi, Allison Andersen, Viviana Collazo and Swami Divyananda, she learned how to guide students to connect with their breath through the asanas so that they may cultivate awareness of their natural state of inner peace.
In addition to teaching yoga, Joanna is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Science Education Biology. Her hope is to teach current and future
generations to appreciate and respect their bodies, inside and out.
Robert is a certified Meditation teacher, Integral Yoga Institute, New York. He has been associated with IYI since 1974. He has been leading Satsang’s, Meditation and various other classes on an Eastern psychological – spiritual approach to everyday living for the past 15 years. He also teaches Course In Miracles.
