"I was a little hesitant to sign up for Dharma Discovery. To plan to do a yoga class or meditate every single day was a very big commitment. I came up with every excuse not to do it, but thought maybe I needed; a community that encouraged each other every day to step into our practice as a part of our routine. Even if you had a long day, you could find time to meditate or practice pranayama. The daily encouragement on our Facebook page was always something positive to look forward to.
The community of like-minded people coming together, encouraging, listening, and cheering everyone on made such a huge difference. I did more than I ever thought I would. I did more than I ever thought I would. I did so much that there became a calmness to my existence. People noticed that I smiled and laughed more. I felt less stressed about everyday things. I actually got more done during my day when I made time for my practice. What a true discovery it turned out to be for me."

With a regular practice you can expect to gain strength and flexibility, improve balance, possibly lose weight and considerably calm the mind.
But the real bonus of a regular practice is what happens off the mat. You begin to cultivate the ability to respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically. Joy becomes your default setting. And worry becomes a memory.
And with all of that comes clarity. Your dharma, or path now has the opportunity to reveal itself to you. Set your goal to come to the studio 2x per week or 6x per week, whatever will make you feel at your best. Take note of the changes that occur over the course of 30, 60 or 90 days. Embark on your own Dharma Discovery at any time.

We love supporting our community. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by so many great people and businesses, as well as our fellow yoga studios. Over the years we have had the honor of helping to open businesses, instruct the opening stretch to the Candy Cane 5k, participate in It's Just Yoga and other yoga festivals as well as support our local schools and non-profit organizations. Please let us know how we can support you.
