RED SUN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Are you looking for the next step in moving forward with your yoga practice?

Red Sun Yoga Teacher Training offers 200-hour certification programs in Hatha yoga, and numerous other companion trainings.

These programs are designed for those who:

  • plan to teach traditional Hatha Yoga
  • wish to incorporate yoga into a health-related career
  • seek to deepen their personal practice and understanding of yoga without the intention of teaching

When you have completed the 200-hour certification program you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Red Sun Yoga Teacher Training is a Registered Yoga School which follows the criteria established by the Yoga Alliance.

Teacher Training Program

The Teacher Training Program offers training to those who are interested in deepening their understanding of the philosophy of yoga and sharing it with others.

This 200-Hour Training will include:

-In depth study of asana (postures) to deepen your own personal practice and to safely teach others
-The rich history and philosophy of yoga, including The Yoga Sutras and other yogic texts
-Sanskrit – the ancient language of yoga
-Pranayama – breathing techniques and practice
-Meditation – the practice of mindful stillness
-Yoga Nidra – the practice of guided meditation
-Anatomy and Physiology of the human body and each posture
-Ayurveda – the ancient science of life and living in harmony with the Earth
-The Chakra System – the anatomy of the seven energy centers
-Adjustments and Modifications for each posture
-Ethics and the Business of Yoga

2015 Training Dates – Nine (9), 20 hour training weekends:

April 24-26

May 15-17

June 5-7
June 26-28
July 17-19
August 14-16
September 11-13
October 2-4
October 23-25

Friday Evenings 5:30 – 9:30
Saturday and Sundays 9:00 – 6:00

Price: $2800 – receive $300 off if paid in full prior to April 15, 2015
