This class is based on the primary series of Ashtanga with the flexibility to modify, add, or work more deeply into each pose. The primary series of Ashtanga Yoga offers a flow of specific classic poses that heat the body to safely stretch and strengthen with an emphasis on the breath. A quiet practice, a series of long, slow postures that targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Poses are held from 1-5 minutes long. at 6:30 pm
