Hatha Yoga is the foundation for all my yoga classes. My goal to create a safe and sustainable practice environment.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist and educator of anatomy and physiology for two Yoga Alliance 200 hour teacher training programs in Central Florida, it has been important to me to continue my education beyond the 200 hour certification. Some of those certifications are Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Facilitated PNF Stretch, and Meditation.

I also hold a B.S. in Biology and I am currently working on my master’s in Kinesiology, the study of health and human movement at the University of Central Florida.

For me, yoga is the ultimate wellness practice! The practice of getting to know yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually. Learning to listen and how to respond, not only to my internal environment but the external environment as well. This practice - and practice the key word - helps to keep my energy flowing, my body strong, my lifestyle balanced (that takes a lot of practice:-) and my heart connected.

I am a hit and run survivor. I have had two lower leg surgeries and I am now the proud owner of an ankle fusion and hardware throughout my right leg. I’ve always loved the quote “Be as you wish to seem” by Socrates. To me it brings the idea that you can choose, you can design a life you love. No matter what happens in your life, the life you were born into, the circumstances, and the luck given to you. I apply the philosophy of yoga to my heart and mind, to help me ebb and flow, to be as I wish to seem.
